Are you living your authentic life purpose?
So many of us find ourselves living a role, rather than our authentic life purpose. Influences, conditioning and life experiences throw us into a role that we blindly follow, and we simply oblige to the responsibilities that comes with this role, without truly reflecting on whether or not we are living our true life purpose.
There are many influences that impact how we feel, what we do and most of all what we believe, while many of these belief systems have been handed down from generation to generation.
Perhaps take some time out today and reflect on who your authentic self really is and consider what your true values, passions and beliefs are. Reflect on those aspects of your life that bring you joy, excitement and make you feel energised. Think about those activities that bring you pleasure, as well as those activities that you know you love, but that you are not currently doing.
Unleash your passion
Your values and ideals often unleash your passion. Your passions are things that tug at your heart strings because you care about them. Your passions, values and beliefs are just some of the clues to uncovering your purpose.
Often the key to unlocking both your passion and your purpose is to allow yourself to remember your dreams and to go for them. When you have a dream that you can’t let go of, you should trust your instincts and explore it.
If you are able to start making decisions for your life based on who you really are and what you genuinely want; you will naturally be more satisfied and also become more successful. Living your purpose means using your natural talents, following your natural interests and passions; and living in alignment with who you truly are.
Respond to your awakened self
Take a deeper look at how much of your behaviour is an unconscious response to conditioning from your childhood, past experiences, peer pressure, the media or society rather than as a true reflection of your authentic self.
The good news is that there is a cure to overcoming limiting beliefs, however you first need to become aware of which of these beliefs that are robbing you from living from your true purpose. You need to learn how to eliminate all the negative habits or beliefs that clog your judgement and are hijacking your freedom and start choosing empowering beliefs.
Reflect on your truth and live in flow
Living out of alignment with your authentic self rarely ever works as you are not being true to your purpose. It’s vital to take time to do some self-reflection ever so often so that you can proclaim what you stand for rather than dance around your truth. You need to focus on what your life’s mission is and serve your principles of truth, courage and integrity.
Once you live in your integrity, you will enjoy the tranquillity that flows from living in your purpose.
Your beliefs become your thoughts, your thoughts become your words, your words become your actions, your actions become your habits, your habits become your values, your values become your destiny. ~ Mahatma Gandhi
